Generally yes but she seems to go giggly and genuinely smiley on some occasions with Sam

I can't work out if Ines feelings are genuine or whether it is for affect. On balance, I think it is genuine. He is super cute but just super nasty too. But Ines is not seeing that horrible side of him.

My only defence of Sam would be I think he's being used by the production crew.

He didn't fancy Lizzie from the very start, no interest whatsoever and he just checked out, he's come back and is being scripted as being the bad guy, the side eye looks are to the camera operator who is egging him on, and the voice overs when he's talking to Lizzie or Ines is pure theatre. I think he's got a closer connection with a member of the production team than he has with Ines.

He genuinely dislikes Lizzie, a lot, and is only interested in seeing how far Ines will go out of curiosity, to him it's all just pantomime and no real genuine emotions involved and the production are ramping this up and using it.

He's has said there was no real romance there it was all orchestrated, and even Ines said during their chat in his room that she's only met him 4 times, so there's no secret meetings outside the filmed ones.

He's still a nasty guy, same as Mike is, but they were put with totally incompatible woman and it's showing their worst sides.

The fact the Sam does the voiceovers shows that he just thinks it's all a laugh and has no emotional investment at all

So the thumb sucking incident.

I assumed it happened during the strawberry picnic as he was feeding her then.
But then she said it was later, in bed, after he came beck from his chat with innes. And we saw her go for a kiss once then basically turn over and sulk (then disappear). So not 2 kisses then a thumb.
I just thought it sad get trying to prove he was into her in such scant evidence and claim he wanted yet but she didn't want to hook up with him. It just sounded deluded compared to her sound it's about leaping on him (after wedding and later on).
It would be nice to see her looking natural for once. Have we seen that in any shots? Without all that eye make up?
I think it's the facial gurning I like the least, it's so off putting.

Admittedly Lizzie doesn’t really help herself here when she goes all baby Jane eyes but I really hate the ‘she’s mad’ to cover up shitey behaviour.

From what others are saying titsinabsentia if I make it to episode 41 (or whatever it was!) I will be doing well. My little telly - for the moment - lives another day.

I just like the idea of love without lies and bull shit. You don’t like someone or no longer love them ? You move on with honesty. None of this sneaking around and blaming the fairly innocent party.

It is like big brother. Some folk are thick enough to forget that people can see all they do.

And oh yes - sam has got a brilliant relationship in there with the production staff. All the nudge nudge wink wink stuff. He is continually seeking out the camera - and the person behind it.

I’m hoofing myself silly but I’m actually feeling a bit sorry for Ines. I know. I know.

But I’ve a feeling he will mess her about. Her feelings seem genuine. His just aren’t.

The fact he wanted to keep ‘them’ a delicious little secret was a big waving flag. And she didn’t see it.

She does not and has not covered herself in glory. He hasn’t either.

But there is a mile between them. She seems defensive and a little bit damaged. He doesn’t appear that way to me. He seems just plain arrogant.

I may change my mind depending on Ines’s actions tonight/going forward. But I think the lass will be dropped once he’s had more jollies.

I agree with you, Sheldon. Both Sam and Mike are pulling that stunt of saying things Aimee at winding up their partner and then labelling then as emotional and irrational when they get upset. And the so-called relationship experts sit there and watch it.

A lot of the show is fake, but there are flashes of genuine abuse. Sam is fake with Ines, but his cruelty to Lizzie looks absolutely real to me.

If Sam doesn’t sort himself he will end up like Mike. That just about says it all.

Did anyone else think Mike looked genuinely upset last night when he was talking to the camera about it being over. He doesn't strike me as the type to fake being upset, as he'd want to appear macho, and I was quite surprised at how upset he seemed. I do sympathise with him a bit, Heidi said they talked for hours about the Jessika situation!!! fuck that !!!

Also whilst Sam is happy to torment Lizzie he looked very guilty/horrified/worried when the blokes called him over to come and chat with Bronson.

I think Mike was upset, and tbh I think Heidi was over the top on that particular issue, but I have limited sympathy for Mike because I feel like he is very rigid about how his partner is meant to act and feel and keeps trying to push her back into her box.

Looks are important. As is sex I suppose. They both win on that score. But listening and actually hearing is more important and I don’t think either of them are capable of that.

Quite how she felt the need to discuss the InstaJess thing for 3 whole hours and demand that she be with him I don’t know.

It didn’t merit more than 3 minutes.

I can’t help but feel that Jess might be keeping an option on Mike (if she facilitated the Ines Sam thing at all).

I wondered moons ago if she was keeping an eye on the camera. She may be looking out for a more suitable match...

She has a great relationship with farmer mick. But it seems like muckers rather than marrieds. I hope I’m wrong but she is itching me. I’m not sure why. Maybe because I’m a good few years older and don’t get the instageneration.

I’m probably speaking rubbish. Because I think farmer mick is one of the good guys in there, I can’t understand why they aren’t more of a couple.
