not to be flippant but I think I've found the answer to pepping up your lives.

I have just watched loads of people zipping around like lunatics and a couple nearing pensionable age jumping on their beds like Olympic trampolinists - where do they get all this vitality and energy - I'll tell you

Wrigleys Extra - what???????????

I thought it was going to be an ad for an erectile dysfunction treatment. Do you have those over there?

KateandtheGirls · 26/10/2004 22:40

By the way, I'm very offended at your suggestion that people who are feeling low can just chew gum and feel better. That's like telling you to pull your socks up.

JoolsToo · 26/10/2004 22:41

KATG - OMG - noooooooooo! (not yet anyway - give 'em time )!

Why not just buy a Honda Diesel and live in psychedelic flower land all the time???

KateandtheGirls · 26/10/2004 22:42

It's all couples of a certain age looking at each other suggestively while they stroll on the beach. There's one where they are sitting next to each other in two bathtubs, and they reach over to hold hands...

KateandtheGirls · 26/10/2004 22:44

Oh, and at the end there's the disclaimer, "in the unusual event that your erection lasts more than 4 hours, see your doctor right away".

JoolsToo · 26/10/2004 22:44

ha, ha, ha, ha stop, stop! (and there's music - there HAS to be music???)

OP posts:
KateandtheGirls · 26/10/2004 22:45

Of course there's music, lovely and romantic.

JoolsToo · 26/10/2004 22:47

PMSL!!!! You're NOT serious - sounds better than the programme!

OP posts:
KateandtheGirls · 26/10/2004 22:48

I am completely serious.

JoolsToo · 26/10/2004 22:50

4 hours! ouch! grounds for divorce I say

is it nice and sunny there Kate? or have I got my times wrong!!!??

OP posts:
KateandtheGirls · 26/10/2004 22:55

Just to prove that I'm not making it up.

It is indeed nice and sunny, although the sun will be going down within the next hour or so. (It's almost 6pm.) I have to say the weather here is perfect right now.

JoolsToo · 26/10/2004 22:59

KATG - I cannot tell just how much I am laughing - that woman's face!!! I think there's a man behind her somewhere out of shot - she's just about to go crosseyed

Think I'll change my MN name to LEVITRA - only you and I will know

OP posts:
Skate · 26/10/2004 23:02

KATG - Sorry, I'll probably sound a right thicko now but when you see the posters name on these threads does it show the time in your local time or our time?

Make what???? - come on thats half a story!!!

OP posts:
KateandtheGirls · 26/10/2004 23:28

Skate - it shows UK times, which does confuse me occasionaly, especially when it's after 7pm here, so Mumsnet is showing it to be the next day.

Jools - I'll be Cialis. (That was the advert with the bathtub scene, but I couldn't find any articles about it to link for you.)

KateandtheGirls · 26/10/2004 23:28

I don't remember that one Sue.

JoolsToo · 26/10/2004 23:30

see you around Cialis

Regards

Levitra

OP posts:
KateandtheGirls · 26/10/2004 23:35

Oh, here it is.

So, do you guys call it "Le weekend"?

Here's another article.

Ooh, and here's a picture.

I obvioulsy wasn't Googling very well before!

JoolsToo · 26/10/2004 23:38

the picture PMSL - all they need now is one of your hurricanes to sweep them into the sea and he can use his newly won erection to hoist a sail - presuming he's got a flannel in the tub!

OP posts:
KateandtheGirls · 26/10/2004 23:45

LOL Levitra!

Gotta go now. Have a good night,

Cialis

KateandtheGirls · 27/10/2004 13:37

Bumping for the amusement of those who may have missed this thread last night.

woodpops · 27/10/2004 13:56

I'd much rather watch the adverts as opposed to dh flicking through every channel on the tv and sky. Drives me screwie!!!
