Did anyone else watch this and think the two LA detectives just bragged about their achievements when in fact it was the San Francisco police that solved the crime after just one murder?

The series was pretty damn gory and horrific but it was those two braggers that really turned my stomach! Especially as they didn't want to release his name when known as they 'wanted a shot at catching him themselves' !

I completely agree, they were more concerned in telling a good story and the younger one in particular seemed very arrogant. His poor wife! I was also pretty shocked by the crime scene photos and the tacky shots of bloody hammers falling in slow motion etc. It was very sensationalist and to be honest I feel a bit grubby for watching it.
