It’s on my planner

Squiffany · 24/01/2021 17:51

I finished watching it all today and I absolutely love it 😍

nancybotwinbloom · 24/01/2021 18:11

What's it about?

YesMeLady · 24/01/2021 18:17

It's a group of teens who end up living together in London in the 80s, sadly a lot of it is about AIDS and all the ignorance, denial, shame and confusion about it that was rife at the time. The attention to detail is very good and the cast are great but it's a sad story. I thought the issue with the pink mug was really sad, I know someone who did exactly that.

BetterthanIthink · 24/01/2021 19:29

Watched it all today. I was an absolute wreck by the end!! Soooo good.

YesMeLady · 24/01/2021 19:36

I have only seen 2 episodes but can imagine how it all ends

HolaChicos · 24/01/2021 23:38

Just binge watched it all this weekend. It was so well written (I love Russell T Davies) and such a great cast, I loved it! You'll definitely need your tissues at the end Sad

wizzbangfizz · 25/01/2021 09:37

I wept buckets at the end of this. Hope it wins all the awards because it deserved it, acting was flawless and it was an incredibly moving piece of drama.

Mumofsend · 26/01/2021 08:00

Binge watched it here too. It was absolutely brilliant. as someone born in the 90s I don't really know much about Aids and its really opened my eyes!

Smallgoon · 27/01/2021 22:53

Binged this over the last few days. Thought it was brilliant written, the last couple of episodes made me sob.

SittinOnTheDockOfTheBay · 27/01/2021 23:16

I binge watched, just finished it tonight. It's a roller coaster of emotions and a great cast.

I ❤️ Colin.

An utterly amazing series. We binged it at the weekend and I balled my eyes out and laughed my head off in equal amounts. I also only found out yesterday that the lady who plays Jill’s mum is the actual real Jill who a lot of it was based around, which made me well up again!

HeavenlyEyes · 27/01/2021 23:24

One of the best programmes I have ever watched. Also wept buckets.

allycat4 · 27/01/2021 23:27

I'd also say: it's so obviously filmed in Manchester!! They could have just set it in Manchester.
