She's not been in it for a few weeks then comes back with new coloured hair and a slightly startled look

Ha ha, I was wondering this as well tonight. A bit Gary Gltteresque

Flibbertybatsgiblets · 28/10/2007 23:22

Oh, absolutely.
She's got the Fiona Bruce style of eyebrows now - all stretched across the top of the nose then off at all kinds of unnatural angles across her forehead!

Also her face looking thinner and cheekbones more pronounced.

I don't think she looks younger though, just wierd.

Of definately i was thinking the exact same thing. Even though she does look like she's had work done i think she looks better for it.

ProfYaffle · 29/10/2007 07:36

I think she looks better but slightly non symmetrical around the eye area. Tis somewhat disconcerting.

Me & the dd's have been commenting on how much younger she looks, but naively have been putting it down to her new hair colour we are so gullible!

Good for her, I say, I've seen much less believable work on many other people...

And what colour was Molly last night? Looked like a cross between st tropez tan and canal dredgings!
David platt is also a bit too tanned for a sulky young man from the north of england too.
Anyone else remember when Ivy Tyldesly was sacked from corrie because her plastic surgery gave her a trout pout hee hee.
How times have changed.

I posted this on the Ch4 Soaps forum last week (yes there are other forums out there ) and got soundly chastised for daring to suggest that she ever looked like mutton & that she was a lovely women who looks much younger than her years. No 75 yr old has hair that colour for real! Some may still be red but not that shade.
David defended his bronzed complexion recently to Darryl, attributed it to the manchester heatwave of late.

Ah, it's poor old Jack's teenage skin isn't it? Bless. He's plastered in pan stick inches thick.

A friend of mine found herself sat next to Rita on a train coming out of Manchester once, apparently she was a bit snotty, imperious and talked dead posh. I hate it when Corrie actors talk posh in rl, like they're trying to prove that they're luvvies and better than all this really.

I bumped into Emily Bishop in John Lewis once. She was in front of me at the till buying some baby stuff - very sweet and smiled at me. Therefore, she goes on the Approved List

Ditto, surprisingly, Gail. I served her in a restaurant once and nearly whacked her head with a plate and she just giggled and said it was fine. Tick Approved
