Good sitcoms 2010's

We need a few laughs at the moment and i've worn out a lot of the old sitcoms. I was just thinking I haven't got a big list of sitcoms I like from the last decade, or many i've even watched.

Ones i've liked:

The Detectorists
This Country
This Time with Alan Partridge/Mid Morning Matters
Peter Kay's Car Share
Veep

Which ones do you like? Any others to recommend?

Criteria:
Started from 2010 (or maybe just before)

People just do nothing - bbc
Might take a few episodes to get into it but it's well worth it and about 5 series long too! Very similar to This Country and The Office

Might give this another go. I watched the first episode recently and wasn't keen. Thought it was well written but the put on exaggerated accents were grating.

Stath Lets Flats is good too. And King Gary (bbc)
Also forgot about the funniest show I watched in the 2010s which is The Windsors (ch4)

This Way Up was a lovely, touching and funny sitcom.

Also agree with Motherland, WIA and Derry Girls.

We are watching Motherland and it’s very funny. Just finished Back To Life which was very good but only one season so far and very dark humour. Ghosts is lighthearted fun too but out family favourite if Friday Night Dinner.

odddogout · 18/01/2021 16:47

I love Mum (BBC), it’s both funny and touching.

odddogout · 18/01/2021 16:51

I also enjoyed Him & Her (BBC) by the same writer (Stefan Golaszewski)

Slightly before 2010 but Love Soup was brilliant, starred Tamsin Greig and Sheridan Smith. Can't find it to stream anywhere 🤷🏽‍♀️

Roger & Val Have Just Got In. 2x seasons, came out in 2010. Its the first 30mins or so after Roger (Alfred Molina) and Val (Dawn French) have just got in from work.

Its a subtle humour (with an underlying tinge of something else). Brilliantly written and acted. Hilariously laugh out loud in some parts and quite sombre in some.

Its probably my favourite ever sitcom but part of that is because no one seems to know about it. I can't find it on any streaming sites.
