I think as trophy Gf he paid money out to keep her for 18months planning that she would in turn be useful for him and make him money with the drug business. When she got scared at murder (as you would) he feels like he has wasted his investment.

So Denise goes out with super cop.

Does Denise do the obvious and tell super cop?

Shirley took over the running of the arches at one stage , but as that rarely has a car in it being serviced and is used as a torture chamber/ interrogation place now, I'm not sure what else she ' manages' for Phil! He hasn't any other businesses that I can recall anyway?

I wouldn’t be surprised if Grey did something horrible to the homeless woman; he was seething.

I didn’t like the first Chelsea and I don’t like the second. Just an unpleasant character.

I don’t dislike Lucas as he plays the part well and is affable most of the time so I do agree a good looking/charming character gets a lot more leeway in terms of their misdemeanours.

Bring back Sean Slater and David Wicks!

Lucas is a great actor and he does show up all the others who are not as good. The whole story line isn't gripping me though so I don't really care enough about who is double crossing who !
How does Gray know that the homeless lady will keep quiet?

I really don't mind Dee. I get why people find her annoying etc but I've a soft spot for her and Kim.
Shirley is a tough nut and I'm a bit surprised that she hasn't sussed out that Gray is playing games. She did call him out the other day , then believes all the lies again. It doesn't ring true to me. A woman like Shirley would be smelling a huge rat by now I think : she used to be good at knowing when people are lying.
She has been fooled by Gray's smooth persona.

Normally you go to visit the physic , not the other way around! ( I bet someone will say I'm wrong but I've only been to see them , once in a pub , when we were allowed to go out back in the day! ) they wouldn't go to some random person's home!

The clairvoyant lady looked so genuine and nice. However I'm surprised that EE are going with that storyline. What if it encourages vulnerable, naive members of the public to do the same ... particularly those who have lost loved ones to Covid?!?

I've visited two ladies in their own home , been to a few meetings at a spiritualist church and the pub affair where a few people were there and you could choose who you wanted to see.
I think some may have group meets at one house with other people , but it's not the norm for them to visit you on their own! Not very safe at all !

Max was looking for forgiveness from Abbie i think. It was clunky , but his having a bad time of it lately! I just think he was a bit desperate by his situation.
I don't think people would be upset by it as he took a bit of comfort from her visit and we won't see her again I suppose.

I liked the Max storyline. It felt real to me. I think maybe EE are using it to make a turning point in Max's character? He isn't doing much at the moment and there isn't a place for him. Maybe this will turn him around? Usually the clairvoyants 'talk' to you as if the other person is speaking to you. It didn't show her doing that, I think that would be crossing the line tbh, not that EE care much for vulnerable people.

I don't think showing a medium visiting Max is going to result in a rush of people seeking them out. If someone is not open to visiting mediums, EE isn't going to sway them.

Why wouldn't Shirley trust Grey? She has seen his vulnerable side and that makes people gain trust much quicker than they might otherwise?

I think the way they'll find out is if/when Whitney says something about the ticket she found?

That’s true about his vulnerable side. She thinks he wanted die because he couldn’t live without Chantelle not because he killed her.
