Oh and Jed seems younger than Mick. Which makes me think Katy abused him more recently than 30 years ago? If he is Harry's dad and Harry was 5 when he died, then maybe Katy was still abusing as recently as 5 years ago? So how old would that make Jed? Even if he is 20 now, that would have made him 15 when Harry was born, do still a child and underage 🤔

Not to nit pick but Kathy is Lexi's granny (Ben's Mum) At our school when dc were little you could have 3 people as well as both parents they didn't have to be family. Was that just Lola deciding that?

My attention span must be buggered as it seemed like a lot of effort to process two significant new characters, plotline-wise, in the space of a few minutes. And why on earth was Kaff yelling for Ian around the square? He's not five.

Blimey Linda's going to be the next super fast-tracked walford copper with those super-sleuthing and interrogation techniques! They'll be banging on her door in tonight's episode with her badge and camel coat! I do agree that they need to show that justice prevails in these historic child abuse cases but it's all too rushed to give it its due depth. It all feels a bit like the cliched school essay - great plot and starts well but then 'I woke up and it was all a dream" cos can't be arsed to finish it properly!

Also sharon seemed to have stayed at Phils the night Ian vanished but still no mention of Albie and Lexie went from puking everywhere to handing out romantic advice to Ben in the space of about an hour maybe? And YY to kaffy calling for Ian in the street like a lost dog - although to be fair, there are similarities! Can only get better right?!?!
