Evening! Destiny I think when the show came back at the end of last year, they announced that Anne Marie is the new judge? because Meghan is pregnant and obviously with Covid staying in the US.

The last series didn't wow me- but the big gap didn't help.

Currently watching 'The Masked Singer' which I was determined not to get sucked into last year- and ended up getting quite invested .

(I'm not fond of Anne Marie as a singer, so I'm hoping she isn't the type to burst into song randomly, as other judges have done)

It's a shame, because I liked Meghan.

I was watching the Hot List the other day and one of the songs was Swallowed by Bush and I got all nostalgic for the days when Gav was not a shit Ed Sec.but a slightly creepy Voice coach!

Evening Piggy- i nearly posted on the Masked Singer thread. The didn't . . Mel B didn't even sound like a pro singer, to be honest. I know her glory days are well behind her- but, as The Voice will prove, probably- some singers do keep their vocal talents into their 80s even .

Hit List is great- I watch it with dd2 (well, she doesn't really watch)- but she is amazed by my pop knowledge every week. And laughs at how much I yell at inept contestants.

At 80 Tom Jones still has an amazing voice, Will is a bit reedy , who is the new judge? She has a good voice

DP just asked who Anne Marie is. I said she was the one who did that song that Sean Paul 'baby girl'ed' all over (an homage to @Raahh who I believe referred to Sean Paul's baby girling on a previous Voice thread )

I always read the Guardian strictly blog and the amusing woman HATES the Hit List. What's to hate? It's fab.

Anne Marie isn't a unique enough artist to just be known by her first name ( unlike Prince, Madonna etc )
