Anyone else seen it? I've watched Parts 1 & 2 so far and would recommend, but as uncomfortable viewing..

Yes it certainly is uncomfortable.
Poor, poor Britney I just wanted to put my arms around her and say it’s going to be ok. How can anyone live like that? I can’t imagine that anyone could stay mentally well with all that, and those cameras flashing would give me a terrible headache.

Charlotte Church was spot on about the deeply misogynistic behaviour of those photographers. Vile bastards

PhoebeSnow · 30/12/2020 21:44

65 million dollars my god! How much good could they do in the world with that money?

Iamthewombat · 30/12/2020 22:44

The photographers blatantly shoving their cameras up the skirt of a woman (Jordan, maybe?) exiting a club in London shocked me. One of them turned to the camera filming them and cackled, “right up the skirt, haha!”.

Thanks for responses. It kind of made me wish for the days of gatekeepers/censorship to come back as a buttress against the lowest common denominator gaining the foothold it has :(

It was interesting watching with my 20 year old.

She couldn't believe that some of the behaviour from the paperazzi would ever have been considered acceptable

It was really interesting to see the role of social media in celebrity now.

The only thing I didn't like was the monotonous narration by Diane Morgan.

JoanWilderbeast · 03/01/2021 19:06

Diane Morgan sounded fine to voice it for me. Different strokes etc :)

It's good to get a how did we get here explanation, of sorts, anyway.
