They are all shaking hands WTF??
Apparently they've all had a test? That doesnt make it ok!

I didn’t understand it when Joe Wicks spoke about it afterwards.

cheeseisthebest · 29/12/2020 21:11

Its really not ok is it. Regardless of when it was filmed. So much bending of the rules to suit.

It was the same a few weeks ago. Saw them on Instagram. Apparently they’d all had a test so it was ok then? Not sure that’s how it works!

cheeseisthebest · 29/12/2020 21:12

So if I have a test and my friend does too I can go out and shake their hand? I can't so how can they?

Its really pissed me off.

Joe said at the time he’d had a test. What tests are these? Can we all have one?

I don’t know, it’s jarring with me. I know JW got totally rat arsed and they had to put him in a taxi.

Sockwomble · 29/12/2020 21:33

The whole programme is really rubbing in what people watching it cannot do.

cheeseisthebest · 29/12/2020 21:37

Yes totally. And if they show people shaking hands, not wearing masks, standing really close together, etc then no wonder people aren't following the rules.

It’s a hard watch really. I think it was filmed in November.

I didn’t know there was an audience when JW as talking about it.

cheeseisthebest · 30/12/2020 21:06

Yep. Did grate!

Jamie Oliver really doesn’t like Joe Wickes does he? The body language, badly hidden sneer when Joe spoke and the way he casually humiliated him because he hadn’t visited the Italian town his family were from made me uncomfortable.

ValancyRedfern · 31/12/2020 12:44

Yes this programme really pissed me off. All disobeying the rules because they'd had a test. I've had Covid but I still can't visit my mum. Fuckers. The chat was a group wankfest as well. A load of men congratulating themselves on how amazing they were during lockdown. (including Sam Smith who I am not homophobic enough to say isn't a man just because he is slightly effeminate and was wearing an earring so has concluded he's non-binary....)

cheeseisthebest · 31/12/2020 18:42

Yup totally. It was saying if you've had a test and its negative you can hug and shake hugs which you cant!! I might email channel 4!

Stellaris22 · 31/12/2020 21:51

So this is a show where wealthy people show how rules don't apply to them?

I don't understand why C4 would air this, seems very irresponsible and not the right message to be promoting.

It's not difficult to do a covid secure show either, just look at professional master chef.

cheeseisthebest · 01/01/2021 10:09

Ive actually made a complaint to channel 4.
