Watching a docu about Penguins, BBC1 now, just wanted to say how much I'm enjoying Bonnin's narration.. None of that awful portentous vocal which so many wildlife narrators seem to favour.

This is so much nicer to hear than, say, the docu about 'Earth's Tropical Islands' which was on BBC2 a bit earlier this afternoon. The narration was so awfully portentous and pompous that I nearly switched off thinking "do I need to know this stuff that badly? er no....".

So thanks to Liz Bonnin who has shown that nature documentaries can still be narrated sensibly after Attenborough.

I love Liz Bonnin and am always pleased to see her on tv. She's very underused I feel.

She's great. Very knowledgeable and a good communicator without being patronising.
I really enjoy her programmes and agree that she's under the radar a bit.

I too think she's fantastic. Very calm, passionate without all the hype and very knowledgeable.

Good to see a few fans here! Hoping that someone will decide she's obviously - but obviously dahling - the Great Attenborough's successor.
