Finally catching up on E4. Have to say I'm so impressed with Hollyoaks and the way they've filmed the social distancing I've hardly noticed to be honest!

I'm just catching up on a week it! No spoilers please, but has it been good? I'm wondering how they're going to do the flash forward NYE drug storyline

Yes I've caught up in catch up. It's strange as they put the clips in from the preview for last year's teaser so in this bit they are hugging or touchingly. Just shows how much has changed in a year!!

Watched the reveal...know things probably had to change but still enjoyable. Some really good performances as well!
No McQueens for me made it much better..not a fan of another Silas appearance and dont understand why Seth would work with him after he killed his mum even if accidently..

So happy the stupid Tony's dad story is over!!!

Yes, thank god Edward is gone. And glad they didn't kill Tony, as he's been through enough, FFS!

I didn't watch HO in the Silas era, so have no idea what that's about.

Glad we know who the blackmailer is....wasn't expecting that!

I must have missed JP stealing the watch, because that was a big shock for me

I enjoyed the NYE episode as well and I'm liking that the dreary Devereaux's haven't been featured.

Does anyone else think Gary Lucy looks terrible?

I thought that about Gary Lucy, but I'm guessing they use make-up because of his on-screen illness.
I enjoy Hollyoaks but in all the years I've watched it, it has never moved me to tears! I'd need more credible acting than that
Another one who's glad that the stupid Edward storyline is over!

I've never cried during Hollyoaks but I was close when the Kyle and Darren depression story was going on in the spring.

I didn't really understand the Edward story, could never buy his hatred of Tony.

I'm sad we'll have to go back to the silly dolly storyline.. hopefully that's nearly ending!!

Does anyone else think Gary Lucy looks terrible
He's looked bad since he came back to the show. I thought to myself that he looks like a real alcoholic. I don't think it's make-up. He was good looking when younger.

Does anyone else have the softest spot towards Sid - and Charlie - but especially Sid?
I feel almost maternal towards them!
