I did. You mean the bit when Ainsley basically channels her father?

NeedWineNow · 23/12/2020 22:50

Yes, really enjoyed it. Am hoping they will do a second series.

NoSensei · 23/12/2020 22:55

I loved it. I think Martin was so well written and acted! I never expected that of Ainsley (also didn’t really like her anyway....) but I think it’s an interesting twist. Can’t wait for season 2!

I loved it! Cant wait for season 2 (it's already started in the US). Seems like she is very much like her father which he seemed pleased about. I dont think she realises what she did though but Bright will explain it to both her and the police as self defence as he will want to stop his sister realising that she is a killer like their dad. I must admit that I cant help but like 'the surgeon' most if the time too!

NoSensei · 24/12/2020 11:33

@chocolateoranges33 has it started already? Google says the 12th Jan to start in the US, if it’s out already I want to find it Grin

I like The Surgeon too, I guess that’s kind of the point. You can see why Malcom would be so conflicted! Have you seen the trailer for S2? Looks like some crazy stuff is going to happen.

sorry had a day of mn.
I loved the ending, so unexpected. so glad there is going to be another series.
i think MS plays the surgeon so well, you even end up feeling sorry for him at times.

Loved it! Didn’t see that ending coming at all 😮
Although the couple of episodes that Michael Sheen weren’t in, were a bit lacking

ChequerBoard · 27/12/2020 17:52

Loved it here too! The joy of watching Martin Sheen hamming it up to the max as 'The Surgeon' has been the highlight of many of the last few weeks.

Always best when he is on the screen.

Levirandal · 27/12/2020 17:56

I really enjoyed it. I half expected Ainsley to be the one who follows her father. I’d like to see what happens in season 2.

ScreamingMeMe · 28/06/2021 21:43

Anyone watched any of season two???

Alwaysthemiddle · 28/06/2021 21:57

I’ve started. Why is it always so dark? It’s makes it so difficult to watch.

ScreamingMeMe · 28/06/2021 22:59

I find that with a lot of crime/murder/mystery programmes. The brightness in my TV is usually at max.

I love Edrisa. I just hope they don't dial up her quirkiness too much.

Is Ainsley going to "go dark" at some point? I kind of hope not, that would be a bit of a cliché.
