I have Netflix, Prime and Now TV (Sky) but cannot find anything I want to watch!

Some shows I enjoyed:

Desperate Housewives
Big Little Lies
Greys Anatomy
This is Us
The Bold Type
Emily in Paris
Virgin River
The Haunting of Hill House
Tiny Pretty Things
Doctor Foster
You
Dead to Me
Suits
Gilmore Girls

I generally like reality tv too but not really interested at the moment. There is nothing grabbing me at the moment!

Schitts Creek?

FoodDrive · 22/12/2020 15:09

Did you see The Undoing?
I’m also watching old series of Dexter at the moment

AliceinBunniland · 22/12/2020 16:19

I loved Schitts Creek
I watched a few series of the Good Place

Haven't seen The Undoing but will look it up

Haven't seen Dexter either

I started watching Younger and it seems quite good

If you want something as feel-good as Schitts Creek try Parks and Recreation but you have to get past the first series which isn't great.

Roomarmoset · 22/12/2020 16:45

I'm late to the party with Jane the Virgin but really enjoying it!

AliceinBunniland · 22/12/2020 17:05

I watched some Parks and Rec and it was okay but I didn't love it. Sounds like it might get better though?

I liked Jane the Virgin. I've seen it all Grin

Parks and rec gets so much better in series 2. I'd skip straight ahead to that if you try again.

SingleWontMingle · 23/12/2020 07:14

Parks and rec gets so much better in series 2.

And then it's just utterly brilliant! (As I type this I'm sitting here in my Mouse Rat T-Shirt).

DonLewis · 23/12/2020 07:17

Jane the Virgin was brilliant, wasn't it? Left a hole in my life when it finished.

The Americans on prime is brilliant, we're really enjoying it.

Narcos. I didn't think I'd like it, but boy, was I gripped.

Mindhunter was good too. Only 2 seasons.

Earlybird00 · 23/12/2020 07:28

Have enjoyed dirty John, unorthodox, Ozark, money heist. I am always on the hunt for another series or movie so following

SingleWontMingle · 23/12/2020 08:31

Loved Ozark but couldn't get into Money Heist. I just discovered Luther. Late to the party but really enjoying it.

AliceinBunniland · 23/12/2020 10:27

I might try Parks & Rex again

Jane the Virgin was really good

Haven't seen Narcos, Americans or Mind Hunter, Ozark, unorthodox, money heist, Luther

The Crown
Grace and Frankie
Sex Education
Schitts Creek

Luckylau · 23/12/2020 18:28

There are some decent easy watching Australian dramas on netflix. Offspring is fun, and so enjoyed The Principal. Wanted is also meant to be good.

DangerMouse17 · 23/12/2020 18:38

Good Girls
Riverdale
You

Going by your previous likes...

LindaEllen · 23/12/2020 18:42

The Haunting of Bly Manor - by the same folks as Hill House and a brilliant watch!

AliceinBunniland · 23/12/2020 18:44

Queens gambit is on my list

Loved schitts creek and sweet magnolias

I've heard dash and Lily is good

Loved Riverdale and You

I watched the Haunting of Bly Manor this week. It was okay but I think Hill House was much better

Do you have BBC iPlayer? 'Life' is good. By the Dr Foster creator.

burnoutbabe · 23/12/2020 18:50

Amazon prime

The wilds
Unreal

QueenAnnaOfArrandale · 23/12/2020 19:06

I've just started Scandal & can't decide if it's fantastic or awful 😂 but am enjoying watching it. It's written by Shonda Rimes too.

Chasingsquirrels · 23/12/2020 19:10

Not sure if they are available or what platform, but things I've enjoyed in the last few years (and which aren't already mentioned I don't think) are;

Apocalypse Slough
Years and Years
Mum
2 Doors Down
Afterlife
(Actually think they may all be BBC!)

Really enjoyed The Quuens Gambit recently.

Mykittensaremyfriends · 23/12/2020 19:24

Queens Gambit is a must - Netflix
How to Get Away with Murder - Netflix
Sex Education - Nextflix
Killing Eve - BBC iPlayer
