For no reason other than it has popped into my head and is bothering me, does anyone else remember a soap/ drama from the mid- late 90s called (I think) Tynesiders?
I think it was on in the daytime, didn't last long and the trailer involved a glam young brunette woman saying in a strong Geordie accent '...and I don't watch Eastenders!'. Can't remember what channel although I would say BBC at a guess.
Google seems never to have heard of it! I also tried looking for 'Teessiders'.
I seem to think it was a more dramatic nightclub-owners centred type of soap rather than a community based one.
Surely I can't have dreamed this!
