I know that new shows/tv is , like everything else, limited by covid but am I the only one wondering who thought of The Wheel and how it got on tv...?
Its ultimate cringe and so much "padding" (as in barely any content). They literally answer about 8 multiple choice questions in about an hour, and the rest is just faffing about, waving and dad dancing on a comfortable but slow fairground ride with a safety barrier in front of them.
Last year Jason Mansfield did a quiz show that was even worse. I can't even remember what it was called,(we watched it once in disbelief) but it looked so low budget that it was the kind of thing I'd expect in a kids assembly.(i think there was guessing the weight of a carrot, on one round..)
Have the bbc blown the budget on Strictly and Gary Linekar on MOTD??
