The Circle?

Hi, I've just rewarded series 2 on catch up as it was so brilliant. It got me thinking I wonder if there is a 3rd series in the pipeline? Surely the format of the show would lend itself to the current restrictions? Does anyone know?

It says it will be prerecorded and no live shows. I wonder if that means no public vote for their favourite so all down to how popular they are in the circle.

Loved The Circle and watched both series.

I'm a huge fan and I don't usually watch reality tv. Tim was fantastic last series.

I loved Tim, Woody and Ella. Such great people. Sammie was great entertainment towards the end though! I can't get into the first series, l watched the second series first and then watched the first episode of the first series and was just missing the old characters! Should I persevere with it?

The first one is definantly worth watching. As it’s the first series, they don’t know how to play the game.

Not watched season 1 might binge watch it at weekend

I might actually watch it all if they did a third series during lockdown. I found I skipped a lot of the second series as it was too much talking on the live shows. I much preferred just seeing the participants and then a quick vote and chat with the person voted out.

I’ve seen somewhere that an American version is on.

Just looked, it’s on Netflix or it’s coming soon.

I loved the Circle and look forward to the next series! Just had a look at the American version and it comes to Netflix on January 1st, what perfect timing. Will be interesting to see in what way it differs to the UK version.

Thanks for the advice to watch series one, it definitely got better after the first episode. Freddie really got on my nerves with all his screaming which I think is why I found it hard to watch in the beginning, but I got used to it. I liked Alex/Kate but I must admit I felt a little disappointed that he won, he seemed quite uncomfortable about it too. I agree with him winning the public vote but think Dan should have won the ratings vote. The thing that kept me hooked towards to end was that I knew Kate was going to win but I just couldn't understand how that was going to happen as she wasn't that popular. In the end it came down to tactics and Alex did play a good game, but totally screwed Dan over. The rating system in the second series was much fairer, although to be honest I didn't feel like the best person won in that series either. So excited for series 3, hope its on soon. I don't have netflix so can't watch the American one.
