Liam Gallagher is hilarious Grin

Isn’t he? 😂
I am loving this.

BitOfFun · 28/11/2020 23:00

I wasn't keen on Liam, but thought the show in general was pretty entertaining- more so than Graham Norton has been lately, which I never thought I'd say!

Sparklingbrook · 28/11/2020 23:01

I could watch LG all day. Someone with a bit of charisma for a change. He really doesn’t give a shit either. 😁

XmasHollie · 28/11/2020 23:02

Hes my spirit animal

OP posts:
theliverpoolone · 28/11/2020 23:02

He doesn't half love himself!

Sparklingbrook · 28/11/2020 23:04

I don’t get the impression he loves himself. He just really doesn’t care. I wish I could be more like that!

FrankiesKnuckle · 28/11/2020 23:05

He's a parody of himself.
Bet he could do with a day off.

I say this as a massive oasis fan.
Not liking the new song, sounds like it should've been on The Masterplan.

Sparklingbrook · 28/11/2020 23:06

It’s a weird mix of guests tonight.

Pomegranatespompom · 28/11/2020 23:08

I thought he was rude, everyone seemed to pander to him.

coronafiona · 28/11/2020 23:12

I thought Liam was a complete toaster who was rude and self obsessed. He needs to stand firth away from the microphone when singing. The comedian guy and Mat Lucas hardly said a word Sad

Sparklingbrook · 28/11/2020 23:15

A toaster? Grin

Back2Black · 28/11/2020 23:19

I thought he was more whistling kettle than toaster...

Sparklingbrook · 28/11/2020 23:22

A quick Google says Liam is worth £47 million. I guess that's some of why he doesn't care too much.

Paddingtonjuice · 29/11/2020 00:39

Always loved Liam since I was a teenager. Ive read his brother’s book and watched the supersonic documentary. I just love him. He is such a free spirit. His story is very sad and I understand why he and Noel are so fraught. He was a small child listening to his dad dragging his mother and older brother out of their beds to be beaten up while he used to lie there wishing it was him who got hit for once instead. Must have been unbearably painful for both him and Noel. Liam is genuinely who he is and he does not give a single fuck. I wish I was more like him and didn’t he sing beautifully tonight?

Singinginshower · 29/11/2020 00:42

I thought it was a pretty poor.
Liam must be p**d off with all the questions about about Oasis, who disbanded ages ago. Both Gallagher brothers have done individual work for years. It was as if time had stood still.
JR didn't involve the other guests at all while Liam was there ; they must have wondered why they turned up.

Sparklingbrook · 29/11/2020 01:09

As soon as Liam left to get ready to sing JR got yet another guest in which seemed a bit unfair.

I think most guests are happy to be on the JR show whatever, they are generally only plugging something.

WouldstrokeTomHardy · 29/11/2020 01:28

LG is my favourite self-loving toaster

Singinginshower · 29/11/2020 01:34

I agree Sparklingbrook that guests on the show are there to plug a product, but the presenter needs to do a better job.

He gets paid a lot of money.......

Anordinarymum · 29/11/2020 01:37

Johnathan Ross needs to get a better hairdresser who will not dye his hair such a stupid colour

Sparklingbrook · 29/11/2020 01:37

I thought JR was looking like Robbie Rotten from Lazytown tonight. I think his chat show has probably had it's day TBH, I am surprised it's still going.

I don't think the social distancing of the guests helps-better when they are all squished on the one sofa and they can all be in the shot at the same time and interact with each other more. Looked like the dentist's waiting room.

butterpuffed · 29/11/2020 08:18

I like Liam but he has a lot of unresolved baggage , his bluster and 'don't care' attitude are his armour I think. Noel's always come across as more grounded.

Sparklingbrook · 29/11/2020 09:50

I think both of them have their moments TBH.

Pomegranatespompom · 29/11/2020 10:36

That’s awful about their childhoods 😢
Such a shame there is conflict with the brothers.

BitOfFun · 29/11/2020 17:53

Hi @Sparklingbrook! I was wondering what you meant by "As soon as Liam left to get ready to sing JR got yet another guest in which seemed a bit unfair*? Unfair in what way? They seem to do this routinely on JR and Graham Norton, and I don't understand what's wrong with it?

It was because people were complaining LG was taking over. if they hadn't had another guest in he could have talked more to the ones that were perceived as being neglected. Therefore more fair.

I don't really watch talk shows much these days so I don't know the etiquette. Grin
