So much better than Downton Abbey.

Oh yes I loved this. Used to have the entire series on VHS. Don't think I have replaced it on DVD but I could be wrong.

Of course, as with many long running shows, there were a few duff ones and we tend to remember the best bits. I have a theory that if they ever do an ad hoc repeat for any reason it is ALWAYS the one where the King comes to dinner.

So many good bits though

The Great War series should be compulsory viewing! Outstanding.

I loved the Christmas ep (Series 3 I believe).
