FUCKING STEVE MCDONALD!!!!

Has anyone noticed Coronation Street's Steve McDonald's inability to breath when he fucking speaks!!!??? I can't even bear to watch him because every sentence he speaks it's like he's gasping for breath at the end of it! Even a simple 5 worded conversation has him out of breath by the end of it! Am I the ONLY one who has noticed this!? Yes I realise I am a complete saddo but it's grates on me so much!

I've noticed too and it really pissses me off!

I haven’t watched it for years but the eye rolling he did used to really annoy me.

Quick google search shows the actor had covid so likely long covid symptoms.

He rolled his eyes while discussing Oliver being switched off with Leanne the panther day (Shame Leanne can’t be switched off really) it’s like he forgot he was supposed to be doing a serious bit.

I stopped watching Corrie a couple of years ago and always hated that character anyway. So if he's always acted like that it's different.

But sounds like typical post Covid symptoms to me and maybe the actor is trying his best while still having long term effects from the virus.

He's definitely done it lonnnggggg before Covid. I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed 🤣 I think he does it as a character trait? Either way I just watch and think 'take a breath before you pass out from lack of oxygen!'

I watched it Friday night and I haven't watched Corrie for decades. Bet lynch days!
I could not believe how much bigger Steve has got! I'm overweight myself so I'm not fat shaming etc but the actor was always so slim. I didn't notice the breathlessness at all.
Leanne has lost weight I thought?
However, I had no idea who anyone else was or even realize that him and Leanne had been an item or had a child! Who was the man she was with ?
If I start watching again properly I'll have to try and catch up with storylines online or something!

He's certainly had a funny way of speaking for a long time but not seen him for a few years. I have bad memories of him pulling his chin into his chest and horizontally stretching his mouth prior to delivering any line.

I’ve always had a serious soft spot for Steve - even with a bit of extra lockdown weight. I’m not sure why, just one of those things. I can’t be the only one, can I?
