Sky Q please Advise

Anyone got Sky Q? We have Sky but have virgin media for internet no phone line as use mobiles, but we are considering getting Sky Q package internet n phone line, as we will be having sky upstairs in two bedrooms, I’m wondering ( might be a daft question) but is the connection for the multi rooms (bedrooms) done from downstairs, or is the man going to have to fit something in two separate bedrooms to the tv’s, basically I want to know whether the man will be needing to go over most of my house, I’m shielding and as I have a number of pets they obviously need to be taken into another room for their safety, also does anyone know how long this sort of thing takes very much appreciated

I have one mini box and was able to connect myself. It connects to main box via WiFi and only needs hdmi cable(supplied) to tv and power.Very straightforward. A friend had recent installation and I know they were asked to have main installation area clean/ unrestricted access, and windows/ doors open whilst engineer worked.

Exactly, my husband rang up and was told all pets to be in other room for safety obviously I understand they want to work without falling over kittens etc, and yes to have areas clear, and also windows and doors open too,
