Northern Exposure on DVD - about time too

They've finally released the first series of Northern Exposure on DVD for region 2 - hurrah! Amazon have it for £9.97 plus delivery and Play have it for £9.99 including delivery, in case anyone's interested. I can't wait for mine to arrive, I loved it so much, especially the first few series before it got a bit repetitive and dull.

I already have the theme tune going through my head . I wonder if I can persuade dh to go away for the weekend as he never liked and tended to talk over it or try to turn over unless I kept a firm hold on the remote. Then I can turn the heating off, open a window, put on an attractive fluffy fleece and pretend I'm actually there.

yes i used to love this show! although i never saw the last series, but didn't the doctor leave or something?
