Having a hard time concentrating on anything lately. Please help cheer me up with your netflix reccomendations for anything funny, rom com or trash tv.

Watching Sex Education and Skins cheered me up and Come Dine with me

The Queens Gambit. I started it on a whim and binge watched it.

Community - short episodes, very funny, really easy watching.

I also second 'The Queen's Gambit'.

I stumbled across Episodes and we have whizzed through it, it's bloody funny and so easy to watch!

I enjoyed holidate.
Also seconding schitts creek. Don't give up after first episode. It's a grower

If you fancy a throwback Sister Sister is now on Netflix.

Episodes is a good shout too..... It got me through early labour with my youngest!

Love schitts creek at the moment, as does DH and he doesn't usually watch comedies.

Selling sunsets - completely bubblegum watching but it was strangely addictive for me

Queen's Gambit is great! I am engrossed.

Brooklyn 99 genuinely gave me some good laughs.

New Girl also nice and easy going.

Teachers, IT Crowd and Shameless maybe if you prefer British shows? If you've got iplayer watch Ghosts, really tickled me.

I can only watch chilled rom com type shows. Recent favs from Netflix have been: Hart of Dixie, Holidates, Rita (slightly different vibe but worked for me), Virgin River, Home for Christmas, Jane the Virgin, One day at a time...

Kim's Convenience! 20mins long episodes, Canadian comedy and really funny!

Offspring - an Australian light drama centred around a family - all adults. Don’t be put off by a minor story line in the first couple of episodes (about the lead’s ex - too silly) as the series soon develops with good modern day story lines and well developed characters and overall is an easy watch with warmth and humour.
And on iPlayer you could try 800 Words - the first couple of Eps are a bit improbable but very soon the characters start to develop along with a good community and friendship vibe - 3 series kept me distracted while recovering from a recent illness.

Emily in Paris is ridiculous but enjoyable escapism

Schitt's Creek- it's funny and love all the characters. I would highly recommend it.
