Olivia Meets Her Match

My guilty pleasure is a bit of reality TV - Botched, Kardashians, Sam & Billie Mummy Diaries etc.

So I've given Olivia Meets Her Match a go this evening. Oh Christ it's painful. She treats her fiancé terribly. Now I know she needs to be a bit "extra" for the cameras but I think she's really hard work. It's clear that she absolutely loves the fact she's marrying a footballer and has a big amount of disposable income to show off.

Anyone else watching this show?

I love a reality show more than the next person but even I cant watch her. She's a horrible human being. Whenever i see the promos and she's talking about her boyfriend I think, "fuck me love he ain't Ronaldo". I saw an episode of that show she did with the guy she was on Love Island with and she was hideous to him. I might have got that all wrong because I didn't watch Love Island when they were on it so for all I knew he could have been a dick himself but still. She was obnoxious on TOWIE too. Hopefully, it won't last another season.

@Bloatedandconfused she was exactly the same on love island to Chris. Should have rung alarm bells for any other men I would have thought!

I looked at her Instagram page and loads of comments from women were along the lines of "you're so relatable" and "you're so funny"... erm

I’m a lot older than her, but when I was younger would never lower my self to her standards, plus don’t know enough swear words!

She was horrific on TOWIE, so this doesn’t surprise in the slightest.
I wouldn’t watch it because I couldn’t bear her when she was on screen for a few mins in TOWIE, so the thought of a whole show about just her would be tortuous.

I gave this a try as well.

My God, she is coarse. So vulgar. Her own mother nearly died of embarrassment at some of her comments in the wedding dress shop.

I don’t wish bad luck on the footballer fiancé, but given his injury he might want to stop wasting money on her in case the gravy train comes to a crashing halt!

That scene where she visits the wedding hotel was mortifying and really showed how poor her vocabulary was; everything was ‘amazing’ or ‘well mad’. 🤨😦

I thought the exact same thing @ScienceSensibility about the footballing injury and how many years (months?) this guy might have left of his career and then where will all the money come from! The guy seems nice but a little out of his depth, and she's taking him for a ride.

He did seem nice.

Was she involved with him before Love Island? I might be misremembering this, but I vaguely recall something about her ‘going back to her ex’?

Was channel hopping and came across this by chance. Thought some of the things she said were really funny but don't think she intended them to be as she was speaking as if it was serious...
