I've just started watching this last night and am hooked. I'm on episode 8 and I'm confused is the daughter not kates boyfriends child? Have I missed a part where this was explained?

Do you mean the 8ish yr old girl, chubby with dark hair? If so, that is Kate when younger. It goes back and forth ALL the time, you get used to it.

Sorry my post makes no sense! When kate gets a job with her boyfriends ex wife she (ex wife) has a teen daughter, is she not the boyfriends child? I seem to have missed the bit where this was explained. I don't want to google because I made that mistake when last month I binge watched the whole handmaids tale in under a week.

Thank you! I can't believe I dismissed this programme years back after about half way through the first episode. I stuck with it last night and woah it is amazing! I'm so excited for tonight when I can sit with my tablet and watch some more, I'm loving Kate so much.
