He 100% knew what he wanted. My husband couldn’t see it at first until I asked if he would have behaved in exactly the same way if it was a 50 year old man interviewing him.

And the film is amazing. So satirical and made me want to cry in places at how depressing America is with attitudes to abortion and women in general.

We watched it last weekend - it's hilarious but depressing at the same time. Rudy Guiliani comes across as just another dirty old man sadly.

I totally got that impression from watching it @theluckiest - it seemed clear to me that he was afraid for the girl and what would happen next hence interrupting when he did.

Him, the Dad at the weird dance and the plastic surgeon were all shown for the pervs that they are. If thats how RG behaves in front of a camera, imagine what hes capable of in private.

@SimonJT oh God yes the dad at the dance, just horrific. I love that his (presumably daughter?) called him out on it and told him how disgusting it was.

I loved the film. I'm terrible at suffering from secondhand embarassment, so I had my hands in front of my eyes a lot. I hope we see more of the actress who played his daughter. She's a great improviser.

I can't watch anything like Borat, I get so embarrassed, but we saw the clip on Gogglebox. What a perv Rudy Guliani is. Gave me the creeps.

Also on Gogglebox we loved the description of Boris, Whitty and Vallance at the infamous Saturday briefing - 'here they are, Fun Boy Three'

Dh and I were wondering how many times Guiliani had been in that position before. He seemed very relaxed about being in a hotel room with a young attractive woman even after all the #MeToo scandals. A respectable man wouldn't be in that situation.
