Just watching TOTP 1990 and a few things struck me...
Just how diverse it was! So many different styles of music, the sheer individuality of style and dress, people not feeling the pressure to look so polished and perfect, crazy non choreographed joyous dancing, strong confident women rocking their 'look'...
And how bloody gorgeous was Sinead O'Connor and how much I love her song Nothing Compares To You!
Maybe I'm just nostalgic.

I'm going through a nostalgic phase at the moment too! Things seemed so much more relaxed and fun! So refreshing to look back. I'd give anything for a time machine!

Yes exactly Milknosugarthx ! The lack of pressure to conform. I loved the 90s. The younger generation seems to have a fascination with the 90s, I suppose I did with the 60s!
