Re-Watching the Vampire Diaries

My God I bloody loved the Vampire Diaries when it came out. I watched it faithfully on itv when it came out, but only got half way through season 7 (there's 8 in total). I think there must have been a season break or something and I had a young DC at the time so just didn't get back into.

Started watching it again from season one on Netflix, 10 years from when it first came out. I bloody love it, the characters are amazing, the storyline in far fetched but gripping. And OMG Damon 😍

I'm halfway through season 6 on Netflix but I only have till the 1st of Nov and then it won't be available. So, I have 10 days to watch nearly 50 episodes. I have two DC and I work almost full time.

Terrified I won't finish it in time.

I need to believe Damon and Elena end up together....don't tell me otherwise!!!

Any other vamp diaries fans? Who is your favourite character?

I know this is a zombie thread( only a few months though!) but it’s back on Netflix.

I too am rewatching years later.

It is just as amazing trash as it was then. The first 3 seasons were just quality bingeable fun.

I also have kids and a job and have steamrolled my way through 6 seasons in about a month

Season 7/8 are going to be painful though. It got so bad.

Ian Somerhalder will always be the sexiest guy on tv ever for me. #teamdamon forever
And he still looks hot in his 40’s

Ok I'm going to admit something to you...

When it went off of Netflix I splashed out and bought the seasons I hadn't seen on Prime. Loved it.

I went straight on to The Originals and binged all 5 seasons.

So here's my confession....

Now that it's back on Netflix I'm now making my way through TVD again 😱. I am half way through season 4 and it's only taken me 2 or 3 weeks 🙈

I love Damon so much - and Klaus. Don't know who I love more!

Wow was there really 5 seasons of The Originals?! I think I only watched 1. I loved Klaus too, and also debate who I prefer between him and Damon

I try to watch it but Damon’s serial rape of the blonde girl puts me off every time. I don’t understand why or how they could have whitewashed him after those disgusting scenes.

I enjoyed the vampire diaries (though I can’t get over why a 200 yr old vampire would want to go to school.)
but I absolutely love The Originals. Klaus or Elijah. I’ll take either.

Oo I'm watching it now. On 3rd episode not sure I'm feeling it yet 😁😬
