Oh my word I've just found myself shedding a tear at My Octopus Teacher on Netflix!!
Utterly compelling viewing, can highly recommend.

Not something I'd naturally go for either, is there anything similar out there to watch maybe?

Watched this a couple of weeks ago and loved it!

What is it about?

A bloke in South Africa went snorkelling every day in the same bit of sea and got to know a particular octopus. Was really good. Nice and easy viewing... x

They form a relationship and the octopus has such intelligence it really is incredible.

I watched this tonight... Beautiful and an amazing film. It's the first time I've shed a tear at anything on TV in months!
I can never look at an octopus in the same way again... Such intelligence, utterly incredible. We need more TV like this!

Aww , so this is why I was suddenly seeing an influx of anti - octopus eating on threads - I don't eat them and I don't know anybody who does and I was wondering why so many people were discussing it. Makes sense now.
