We tried to watch the first series of AHS but I don't like anything with sexual violence so we stopped and haven't watched any of the show since.

But Gaga being in it makes me want to give her season a go.

Please could any of you who have seen it let me know if it's rapey/sexually violent.

We're looking for spooky things to watch this month.

Hello!
I love the AHS series!
I especially love Gaga in Hotel but it does get pretty graphic. If you are sensitive to violent sex scenes, which is completely understandable, I would probably avoid it.

Although saying that, if you have watched other seasons, it is on par with them.

Have you watched the sabrina series? That is also spooky and good, and the dark tourist, if that's still on there.
:-)

Do you mean Hotel? She's also in Roanoke. But she features more in Hotel. Unfortunately it does include some sexual violence.

Thanks so much all. Appreciate the heads up.

We'll check out Sabrina!

I love a good ghost story/horror but really don't want exposed to sexual violence in my leisure time.

Gaga was fantastic in AHS hotel , she has a great role and the most amazing wardrobe. I think hotel and the last series , were my favourites of whole show. Quite a few explicit sex & a rape scene in Hotel though so probably one to miss .

Thanks @Anchoredowninanchorage

I've always loved her music and was very impressed with her performance in A Star Is Born. So thought maybe combining my October TV and her would work well.

I'm happy with explicit sex as long as it's consensual in stuff. But a rape scene wouldn't be for us if it's too graphic. My husband is unable to watch anything like that as his sister was raped as a teen and it's understandably very upsetting for him.
