Is anyone else watching this on iPlayer? I like it

Yes! I've only watched the first one so far

dalmationsandcats · 09/10/2020 00:30

Watched it all in two days. Loved it!

VanGoghsDog · 09/10/2020 00:32

I watched it. It was OK. She has insanely skinny legs.

SchadenfreudePersonified · 09/10/2020 08:45

It's brilliant!

So many manipulative men - such bar-stewards!

NewModelArmyMayhem18 · 09/10/2020 08:57

I really enjoyed it reminded me of my misspent youth.

Agree about her very skinny legs!

Wafflehouse · 09/10/2020 15:36

I watched it over a couple of days and then wished I hadn’t because I miss it now. Anna Kendrick is very watchable, I don’t know why she always ends up in ensemble films.

And I know she is small but I didn’t realise how small until the last episode when she was lugging that travel system everywhere. Either she is very tiny or that was the biggest pram in the world. And before anyone complains, that’s not a spoiler, she’s shown with a large bump as a flash forward at the end of the first episode.

beanyfeet · 09/10/2020 17:45

She really is teeny tiny! I also watched it all in one go and miss it now, it was so easy and comfy to watch. There's going to be a second series!

Davros · 09/10/2020 19:00

The tone reminds me of the Kaminsky Method or the Meyoritz Stories

I miss it too! It was just so lovely and real. I need more of this stuff right now.
Davros · 10/10/2020 14:21

You should try The Kaminsky Method on Netflix (I think), it's brilliant, and The Meyoritz Stories

After half watching a few I binge watched it all properly last night. Loved it!

MillieVanilla · 11/10/2020 11:11

Yes! It came up on suggested on sky and I've missed being able to binge watch when the DCs are at school.
I really enjoyed it, I found the characters likeable and wanted them to end up happy
I do wonder if there will be another series perhaps, I hope so.

NewModelArmyMayhem18 · 11/10/2020 13:27

It reminded me rather of a potted version of Sex & the City for Millennials - but less glam.

unkindnessofravens · 14/10/2020 07:59

I loved it too and know what you all mean about missing it. Hope the second season isn't too far away.

EachandEveryone · 17/10/2020 22:51

I cant believe shes 35!

Nutmegpapaya · 17/10/2020 22:55

I absolutely loved watching it. Watched it all in two sittings.

Agree with the pp's - once I saw how slim her thighs were I was shocked. My forearms are the size of her thighs.

DoorbellsSleighbellsSchnitzel · 17/10/2020 23:35

Yes, really enjoyed it. Watched them all over 3 (very unproductive!) days, and yes, I miss it now!

Liked seeing how the Darcy/Augie relationship aged out. Really couldn't bear Magnus.

Newgirls · 18/10/2020 19:48

I really enjoyed it to. Liked the friends very much and the ending. Trying not to give spoilers but felt liked how she focused on career and openness and how that worked for her.

andannabegins · 18/10/2020 20:23

I loved it, the relationships were all
So real. I'm glad there will be more, I miss it too

EachandEveryone · 18/10/2020 22:27

Her dp in real life is a Londoner I wonder if she had any hand in the writing? I just loved it watched it all today.

TheRogueApostrophe · 18/10/2020 22:39

I just found this today, watched it all, and came here to see if there was a thread. Good show. I agree that Anna Kendrick is very watchable. I like her a lot. Kind of wish I hadn't binged it but I was a lovely well spent afternoon.

MarkRuffaloCrumble · 18/10/2020 22:42

Yes I loved it too! Was trying to remember if there was any naughtiness in it as I feel it would be good for DD to watch too.

Janevaljane · 18/10/2020 22:46

The script was smart and funny and all the supporting characters were very good. It was a lot better than I expected.

EachandEveryone · 18/10/2020 23:11

Can there be another series i wonder? It reminded me of satc/Girls. I miss them both. I lived seeing NYC

NewModelArmyMayhem18 · 19/10/2020 08:06

I think I've read that there will be a second series for sure?

Agree about Magnus!

I don't think it's entirely appropriate for younger teens - a few raunchy scenes. I have made that judgment call for DD.
