Only 10 years difference between edwina and saffy (or the actresses that play them)

I was watching Ab Fab and noticed how young edwina looked. They look more like sisters really !

I hadn't realised that. There was only 13 years between the Queen Mother actress and the Queen actress in the first series of the Crown

It’s funny isn’t it. I watched it as a teenager and Eddie seemed old to me then, but she actually looks so young !

Jennifer Saunders was only 34 when the first series came out. But presumably Edina was suppose to be older since she had teenage daughter and there were lots of comments about the 60s. I think it's suppose to be based on Lynne Franks who is a decade older than JS.
