I'm ill in bed watching my sixth episode in the hope that I will spot my illness Grin I'm getting addicted. Honestly how do they stay so upbeat with everyone bringing them their pains and worries? And 10 minutes is no time at all for a consultation.

Dr Tom Pelly is my favourite as he seems really kind, , thorough , and a decent bloke but crikey there are lots of cracking doctors featured.

Do you think they are that amenable when the cameras aren't there? I have a sense they are.

Dr Pelly was my Dr when I lived in Bristol at Horfield Health Centre and is just as lovely when cameras aren't there. I had an appointment when they were filming once a few years ago but declined to have my appointment filmed. I don't think they film it there anymore though

That's really good to hear ShalomToYouJackie , he comes across as being really genuine.

Hands down the best moment on it is when a young girl picks up a leaflet about reproduction. The doctor notices and makes a big deal out of speaking to her privately (nice doc). He speaks so caringly and it turns out she just wanted it to get 50p out from behind the radiator Grin
He was visibly annoyed

I have an inexplicable love for this show - it’s like the opposite of the drama of One Born Every Minute...

‘Gladys’s ear cleared up nicely without antibiotics’
‘Dave’s pain went away again and he’s feeling much better now’

I haven't seen that one yet iamtheoneandonlyyy sounds good Grin

Agree gothicsprout the summaries at the end are very reassuring. Although it does make you realise how many tests are done for no reason at all. I suppose that's necessary to catch the sinister cases.
