Netflix has season 1 and BBC are re-running season 2. I could watch these again and again, so funny and accurate. Especially the in laws coming round to help when actually they're just totally useless and makes things harder

Love it. Especially #shitshop and the swimming pool episodes. Liz and Kevin are wonderful. It feels cozy and brings back memories of the school gates.

I bloody love Motherland! I stalked bumped into Anna Maxwell Martin in the supermarket pre-lockdown and, abandoning all dignity and self-respect, gushed at her about how awesome she is (whilst completely failing to recognise the lesser-known actor she was standing with )

She was totally lovely and witty and indulged my fangirling with good grace. I've not seen her in there since, mind you...

I would highly recommend Workin’ Moms on Netflix for fans of Motherland.

Also got excited about a potential series three! Bloody hilarious. Liz is my favourite of the mums. 'Just the right side of give-a-fuck' as Meg puts it in season two!

Liz nailed it when Amanda smugly explains that her and her ex dh are 'co parents'
She hits her with - 'just wait until he gets on tinder love, let's see how much of a co parent he is then'

I loved it! I’d seen both series but hadn’t seen the pilot until it came on Netflix - the bit where shes starving because she’s stuck in Liz’s flat and all the food is frozen, then tries to eat the kids spag Bol out of the bin...
