Emily in Paris - Netflix. A 12?

This is such a fun show, better than I had expected for a bit of light entertainment. However, it is NOT a 12! Swearing, sex...how did it get a 12 rating? Maybe I'm a bit behind the times but my 12 year old won't be watching it!

I don’t understand how it got a 12 either ive only watched one episode but after the ending of episode one it’s more like a fifteen! I’m not really behind the times and I wouldn’t be watching this at twelve, I’d have been traumatised

Agreed. I was also puzzled why 'below deck' was classified 'teen', when there was plenty of sex and some nudity

It's so strange, I'm glad it's not just me. I'm on episode 8 and there is way more as the episodes progress.

I'm also completely shocked that it's a 12! Episode 1 has her and her boyfriend masturbating on Facetime and there's loads of explicit sex talk. I would really think it's more 15 or 16.

I almost asked my 13 year old to watch it with me!
