FloriaTosca · 10/10/2007 20:24

It's brilliant. I just lurve it! Eep this week with the phsychologist "we dont bring attention to negative behaviour" parents

CountessDracula · 10/10/2007 20:27

no
it's drivel

Tillyboo · 10/10/2007 22:20

My dh doesn't watch hardly any tele at all, bar the Grand Prix, and Top Gear, but he HAS to watch Doc Martin.

We love it, Martin Clunes is just fab in it !!!!

ThisIsSabrinaPleaseDoNotScare · 10/10/2007 22:42

Its fantastic. We visit port isaac from time to time and sometimes see them filming.

Keep forgetting to record it though!

chloesmumtoo · 11/10/2007 13:35

Isnt it bril. Keep bursting out in laughter its so so funny.

BroccoliSpears · 15/10/2007 22:30

It's often the only hour of tv I watch all week. Love it. Tonight's ep had me hiding behind a cushion a bit though. Cringe.

Wouldn't it be fab to sometimes be as abrupt and rude as the Doc? Don't you have days where you wish you really could be like him.

Louisa is a bit of a wet hen though.

Carmenere · 15/10/2007 22:31

I will admit to liking it

ThePersonWhoWantsToWatchRugby · 15/10/2007 22:31

why no for its a pile of horse shit

UnquietDad · 15/10/2007 22:34

Yes. My mum.

purplerain1 · 15/10/2007 22:36

I like it and agree it would be great to be that abrupt occaisonally I'm not usually a fan of that type of show, hate heartbeat etc. but Doc M.is fab

hotcrossbunny · 15/10/2007 22:40

Its probably the only programme me and my dh find equally funny. tonight with the dog was LOL funny

moljam · 15/10/2007 22:43

i think its ok.but hope people dont think cornwall is actually like that!.we live not far from there so watch more for friend spotting as extras.

purplerain1 · 15/10/2007 23:09

Don't know about you but the whole mother figure young boy relationship a bit wierd! Have no probs with 10-15yr gaps as have that in my extended family but hey if that was yr mum and you walked in like the doc did in the
kitchen-on the table argh!

anniebear · 16/10/2007 11:05

I enjoy it also!

Is a bit strange at times, especially the receptionist!

But it does make me laugh out loud

alycat · 16/10/2007 11:15

I also like it

I saw AL (who was/is the plump plumbers son) in last series in Bluewater a while back - he gave me a RED HOT eyemeet!

SGT Heaton from The Bill was there that day too, he's right posh in real life! (I think I might be watching a tad to much TV!)

Boogalooblue · 17/10/2007 19:23

It wasn't his mum, it was his aunt, even so was highly unbelievable, shame really as thoroughly enjoy the prog normally

golds · 17/10/2007 19:40

my dh is like tillyboo's, never sits down to watch TV, but he absolutely loves DM - hilarious

lilymolly · 17/10/2007 19:46

love it love it even dp sits and watches it!

mamafraise · 23/10/2007 09:27

Finally!!! Was starting to think it would never happen and program would become irritating!

horsesforcourses · 05/11/2007 18:19

Oh was just wondering if there was a thrad on Doc Martin and found this!! Last one in the series tonight - yes we have our hour when ts on too! Has been a good series, does anyone know if teres any plans for another series?! (Fear it might stop thye Martin and Louisa actaully make it down the aisle!) How funny would life in their house be, and omg, little Docs?!! Horses

cornetjo · 05/11/2007 23:17

According to Martin Clunes, who was on GMTV this morning, there are plans for another series, although apparently he wants to take some time off first to "grow his hair".

Did anyone think that this evenings episode was a bit of an anti-climax?

saltire · 06/11/2007 09:14

I did think the wedding would go ahead - in the surgery or the police station. however, them not getting married leaves it open for another series, as I don't think it would work as well with them married

mistressmiggins · 06/11/2007 10:39

I was gutted last night when the wedding didnt go ahead
Think they could have carried on even though married - in fact think the story will be worse with them split up
