Found this by chance last night. Seems to have just about everyone who has ever been in a tv series in it, including Josephine from Spiral and Nasreen from Ackley Bridge.

I think it is a US production. Everyone looks really plastic with layers of make up and bizarre hair styles.

See from threads in 2018 (when first shown) that some found it gripping.

So for anyone short of a crime series and and ins't on Netflix www.channel5.com/show/harlan-cobens-safe/

And please - for anyone who has seen it no spoilers - thanks!

Hi fives

Saw an ad for e2 next wed

So need to see 1 - think on sun 1/2am

But looks good

stumbledin · 01/10/2020 20:54

Was wondering if it was all a hook to get people to sign up to Netflix as I couldn't see anything about episode 2, so good to know it will be shown on a platform for those of us outside of the subs lifestyle!!

Yes it’s 9pm wed slot

And a few repeats in week

ShortFatandDumpy · 02/10/2020 02:58

This is my 2nd attempt at watching this. First tried on Netflix back on thwbspring.
Just not enjoying it. Can't get into it.

stumbledin · 02/10/2020 14:30

Once I got past how plastic they all looked I sort of got into it. But then I have only seen one episode!

Blondeshavemorefun · 04/10/2020 15:44

Watching e1 now

I will love it

Has two of my fav male actors

Dexter 😂😂

Abs Marc Warren

If only the third was in it. Blondes would be drooling all night

Blondeshavemorefun · 04/10/2020 21:02

Loved e1. Can’t wait for 2 on wed

I don’t download and binge

Tho confused who was the man with the freezer

Pete was his friend aka sexy Marc Warren

But that wasn’t him in the garage

Blondeshavemorefun · 08/10/2020 11:44

Saw 2nd last night

Anyone watching

stumbledin · 09/10/2020 13:40

I caught up last night, and feel its all a bit OTT. And a bit far fetched.

But will probably keep watching.

OP posts:
Blondeshavemorefun · 09/10/2020 22:11

I’m loving it

MollynAlly · 10/10/2020 00:19

I binged on netflix, really enjoyed it

mum2jakie · 11/10/2020 21:32

Watched the first episode. Not convinced that I need to bother with the rest. Is it worth continuing? Are there only three episodes?

Blondeshavemorefun · 11/10/2020 21:53

I’ve seen 2 and enjoyed

Not sure how many there are tbh

Def good tho

YessicaHaircut · 13/10/2020 10:25

We watched it on Netflix and enjoyed it (definitely need to suspend your disbelief at times!). Love Marc Warren, Dexter actor good too though his English accent kept slipping which always bugs me. Hope you enjoy it OP.

FeltCarrot · 13/10/2020 19:09

It was filmed in Hale/Altrincham, we had fun spotting all the local landmarks. The scenes at the school is Altrincham Grammar School for Girls, my daughter’s old school and one of my friends sons was an extra.

stumbledin · 15/10/2020 16:07

Never even realised the lead actor was american, and so watched last night with ears alert, and was impressed. Partly because it wasn't over done.

Sort of hooked now as I want to know what happens but the family where the dead boy was found seem to be acting in a farce while everyone else is being really earnest!

Anyone still watching. Just on e3

There are 8 in all

Blondeshavemorefun · 22/10/2020 12:31

Talks to self

4 was good

Will pete be ok

Who is the woman hiding jenny

stumbledin · 22/10/2020 18:59

I have been watching but am not toally enthralled, but of course want to know how the plot is resolved.

And one of the problems is none of them are very likeable!

OP posts:
Blondeshavemorefun · 23/10/2020 11:10

Suprised uou don’t like. We usually like the same stuff

I’m loving this

Tho I couldn’t get on with Tommy

stumbledin · 23/10/2020 14:34

I think we both like crime / mysteries but have different reactions!

OP posts:
Blondeshavemorefun · 23/10/2020 15:54

😂😂

mum2jakie · 26/10/2020 18:34

I gave up when I found out it had 8 episodes! Could have faced 3 but didn't find the mystery enthralling enough to sit through 8 episodes...
