This is us.

I actually struggled with the last episode of outlander. Or even the last two.

BaconAndAvocado · 27/09/2020 17:42

I'm watching This Is Us. Very sentimental but I love it.

The last episode was brutal but then a lot of Outlander was. There were numerous rape scenes over all the seasons.

Same, I'm still grieving outlander so I bought the books and am enjoying them!
I also went onto watch this is us, seems to be the thing to do 😁

I have read all the books 2 or 3 times. My favourite is A breath of snow and ashes which will be what season 6 is based on. Now I read fanfiction and some if it is really good.

BaconAndAvocado · 29/09/2020 15:34

shartsi what is fanfiction?

Fan fiction are stories written by fans which are an alternative to what happened in the original books. For example some imagine that Jamie followed Claire through the stones and lived a happy life in modern day Lallybroch, or Faith lived. Some also put the characters in modern day settings for example Jamie a movie star, fireman, police officer etc.

Read all the books again!

Thanks shartsi that sounds interesting. And are they in novel form?

Your link didn't work on my iPad but my iPad is prehistoric.

They are on a website called "archive of our own". Just put archive of our own outlander in Google and it will take you there. If you create an account, it is easier to navigate.

Also the Lallybroch library on tumblr has links to the fan fiction
