I've started already and I've only seen the trailer for it on GMTV! A little girl was saying 'hello daddy' to a camera, because he was in Iraq. But daddy said hello back and he was standing behind her! wahhhh! sob!

I love this programme.

Dp is going out so I can sob like a young child alone without him taking the piss out of me.

I've run out of tissues, I must go and buy some! Its the ones with the kids that get me. Especially when their heros give them their awards. I can only imagine their excitement. So inoccent and yet so brave and grown up. Paul O'Grady said he hasn't cried so much, since Laura Ingalls went blind in Little House of the Priarie!

I was watching GMTV this morning at 7.15 while only half awake and thought to myself whats wrong with Carol Vorderman then I realised she was sitting there crying. She said last night she had to hold it together for the children and while presenting but watching it back was to much.

I know it will make me cry as well but it is so uplifting and heartwarming, often the media only seems to want to report on the 'shock horror' stories so its wonderful to see these amazing people get the recognition they deserve.

Oh god, I've just seen the little girl clip again on This Morning! She's about 6 and her little sister who is about 3 is there too and didn't know daddy was coming home! O M G !!!! Get the tissues ready girls! Its gonna be a killer!

I'm amazed anyone watches this tripe, tbh.

MaureenMLove · 10/10/2007 10:48

Because its nice to see real people getting the regonition they deserve and it helps to make you remember that when the chips are down, Great Britain really is Great.
