What about they're like cars! more you put in the longer they go! WoW ! she is a witch! And those crying hungry twins on the rug! Is this tv to make us rage ?

chipmonkeyPumpkinNorks · 09/10/2007 23:53

Claire Scott, you have our full permission to put CV's photo on the back of your bedroom door and throw darts at it!

tegan · 09/10/2007 23:57

As nuch as I agree with some of what claire scott has to say, does she actually have any children of her own?

MeltingandScreamingIcarus · 10/10/2007 00:31

She has two.

severedhandcastles · 10/10/2007 02:28

I have NO idea who she is...but I have joined the fb group out of support, as you all seem to like her!

severedhandcastles · 10/10/2007 02:30

Have seen she has a website, will educate myself later!

MarshaBrady · 10/10/2007 06:56

She was great. Crikey even just watching it I felt my heart rate go up with stress from the not breastfeeding in public rubbish.
She did very well, it would have been difficult to remain calm.

SharpMolarBear · 10/10/2007 06:59

I was impressed that she calmly argued for bf in public. Was even more impressed that so much of it survived editing. Don't think she changed the minds of the other two but then that's not what the programme is about, is it?

the spock lady went way down in my estimation with her feed the baby in the toilet if you have to line

ChipButty · 10/10/2007 08:26

Yes, Dreena really surprised me this week with her stance on BF in public. Up until now she has really echoed the way that I brought up my two as babies. I was disappointed in her response.

SharpMolarBear · 10/10/2007 08:30

Yes, it seems really odd
I also noticed she referred to "it", but not to a specific baby, more like "if it needs feeding..."
CV would look at a specific baby and say "No! Don't pick it up"

ChipButty · 10/10/2007 08:36

I think it's significant that CV is not a mother herself. No way would she be able to leave her own baby to cry like that.

SharpMolarBear · 10/10/2007 08:41

I hope the CV people have immaculate houses. All they do is feed (so 6 times a day x 15 mins maybe) and have a ten minute cuddle. They also have eight hours sleep a night. So (if my calcs are correct) that's under ten hours of parenting and sleeping. Hopefully they spend the rest of their time cleaning and tidy, when they're not too busy drinking wine and enjoying themselves without their babies, of course.
Sorry, rant over, am trying to clean my kitchen floor with a grumpy 5 month old to entertain!
