I don't really watch ITV, but recently watched Des, so this morning I had a glance at what else is on the ITV hub. I couldn't even get through the credits of this. Talk about salacious.

I don't even know why I'm starting this thread.

Gross. Trevor should have better things to do in his old age.

There was a huge build-up implying Hindley and West had had a torrid affair, but when it came to the point, it was just an ex-inmate of Durham Prison saying she'd seen them chatting by the washing machine a few times.

The rest of it was just a rehash of the Moors Murders/25 Cromwell street and well-worn anecdotes about Hindley's time in prison and her affair with a prison warder.

Trevor was good as an interviewer but his talents were wasted.

Yes, I kind of felt that Trevor should know better(!).

'Appropriate Adult' is being shown tonight, which I remember being quite good when I watched it before - definitely more insightful than last night's fare of former prisoners revealing the shocking news that serial killers West and Hindley were - wait for it - not very nice people.

Yes, I saw that before. At the time I was looking in to volunteering as an Appropriate Adult (in the end I couldn’t work it around my job).
