Only started watching it on E4 last week (dunno what series, ut it says "new") and loved it (been meaning to watch it for ages but not had the time)...

so, please fill me in on background, websites, who sings the song at the start etc etc!

oh my god, you have a helluvalot to catch up on, wouldn't know where to start - can you borrow the DVD's? This is the last ever series (series 6 or 7 I think)

dinny....there is so much to fill in. They are just tying the knots and crossing the bows in these last few episodes. The guy who Tony Soprano killed featured a lot throughout. It may be best to watch the first 6? series and tape these last few. It will be worth it. good luck

There are 86 episodes so only 3 left ever - you've only got 82+ hours' worth to catch-up on then before next week . I think this gives great summaries of each episode. It's the best drama series ever but very complex - happy reading!

Alabama 3 sing the opener. You need to watch from the beginning - it's the accretion of things that gets you the understanding of the main characters and that world and there's a lot that's subtle. Look out for Adrienne, Christopher's early series girlfriend - what happened to her and why was my most chilling TV moment, still makes my blood run cold thinking about it. Also makes crystal clear their values and attitude towards women.

Is it too obvious to think that AJ is going to kill himself? Am resisting the urge to read what happens in the last 3 episodes so please NO SPOILERS!!!

I loved Adrienne, although on the face of it she was not a woman's woman. Was also shocked at what happened to her.
