Did anyone watch this? It Was on Sunday night on channel five.
Featured three families with 9 or more children in Scotland , Kent and Swindon. One of the mums was pregnant with her ninth and was having a hard time of it.
It looked such hard going. One of the mums also fitted in a night shift at work as well.
I know big families were the norm in the 1900s onwards but it isn't as common these days. My own parents were born in the 1920 s and they only came from families of five children, which was hard enough back then.
I guess we're all different, but I found two hard enough myself and I had all the mod cons such as a washer and dish washer etc!
