Just a heads up that there is a new series of Better Things on iplayer

New series (4th) came onto iplayer last week.

For those who haven't watched it, It's an american drama/comedy about a single mother and her 3 daughters.

I'd say similar in feel to This is us/Gilmore girls etc but a bit lighter.

Yes Im not sure how I felt about it.some of it I loved, especially New Orleans I felt like i was there. There just didnt seem to be much continuation this time did they? Does anyone else feel like its winding down?

No overall story line, just a lot of single episodes, I did enjoy it but yes, it does feel like it's winding down. Louis CK no longer involved in the writing so maybe that was the difference?

He hasnt been since season 2 and yes, I do think it shows.

I just watched the last one and thought it was lovely. It really felt like the end.

Sam is such a great character and it's nice to have a slightly older woman on screen who is funny and not afraid to be sexual. Can't stand the older two kids though. The eldest is getting better but the middle one, agh! Sam's mother is so much like my MIL it's both sad and hilarious to watch.

None of my friends watch it because the children are so unbearable, it’s very LA. I love it but it is very niche.
