Non scary nature programmes

I would like to watch some nature programmes with my kids (aged 8 and 5). However they seem to be rather sensitive to the fact that animals eat other animals and it can be a bit savage! I think I emotionally scarred the older one the other day witnessing a snake attack. Can anyone recommend a good programme without such scary things? Maybe I need to find a programme solely about herbivores!

There's one on BBC2 at the moment (week nights but can't remember which one sorry!) which is designed to be really relaxing, non-animals-getting-eaten, almost Mindfulness based. It's very soothing. I'll see if I can find out what it's called.

It's called Mindful Escapes. On IPlayer at the moment.

Deadly Sixty - aimed at children despite its title
