I've given up with it at episode 2 in season 3. It's just awful. Log, drawn out, dumb decisions being made by dumb people all over the place.

But massive spoilers ahead.

With 4 episodes to go.
I'm guessing...
Nurse falls for Spector..
Teenager gets in trouble for squirting stuff I'm the girls eyes, I'm guessing it want really acid.
spector plays up the amnesia.
When all is said and done he kills himself, the end.

Of any of that is true, I'll not bother with the last episodes. 17hours of drawn out nonsense that could have been done and dusted in 2 hours.

SPOILERS AHEAD

Nurse falls for Spector.. - not really; she has deep conversations
with him about God and the afterlife.
Teenager gets in trouble for squirting stuff I'm the girls eyes, I'm guessing it want really acid. - yes. It was lemon juice.
Spector plays up the amnesia. - I think that it may have been genuine when he first regained consciousness. There is a discovery by the police of something he did before the 10 year amnesia period, which he, therefore, cannot claim to not know of.
When all is said and done he kills himself, the end. - Not before taking a few more people out!

I enjoyed series 3 even though it is initially a great deal 'quieter' than 1 and 2.

Thanks they're all close enough to my Jesse's for me to be satisfied I needn't waste anymore time on it.

I should have known from the first episodes of season 1 it'd feature questionable logic and decisions. I should have known by first episodes of season 2 they were just going to drag it on and on and on.

I'm with you, OP.

Loved series 1.
Watched series 2 for some closure.
Series 3 totally 'jumped the shark'.

Such a shame. Why do the writers / producers do it?

SPOILERS

Spector was looked after in ICU, in a side room, just alongside his victim, Rose Stagg, with a handily placed solitary police officer about 50 metres away, outside the ward doors. Nurse Comedian Aisling Bea was very protective of her killer charge, taking her job very seriously indeed and making sure he was comfortable whilst hoping to instil the love of God unto him.

Spector was then transferred to a 'maximum security' psychiatric place pre-trial and for assessment.
He (and the other patients) were allowed to mix, eat meals together, socialise together, and in the end, of course, Spector killed one of them (who he'd got to do his bidding) and also critically injured the senior psychiatrist who was trying to 'understand' him (what a surprise).

Stella never managed to get her voice higher than a concerned whisper all the way through.

She also possesses no casual clothes whatsoever. Satin blouse and killer heels for the day, different colour blouse and killer heels for the evening, followed by negligee with 4 metre belt for the nighttime. Perfectly practical attire for a senior officer needing to be mobile at any time:

I mainly agree, but have to say I wasn't expecting him to snap like that in the interview & that did really surprise me!
