Who do you think you are?

Watched this last night. Did anyone else find Alistair MacGowan a bit...well...odd? Interesting programme, but I didn't warm to him much.

I found it almost as though he has spent so long doing impersonations and playing those characters, that he isn't really comfortable being his own character, if that makes sense.

i thought it was really good.i want to trace my maiden name but cant get far so lose interest!

he's not someone I ever watch, but wasn't his history interesting!

JudgeJudy - I think you're right. I suppose, unfairly, I expected him to be a bit more confident and dynamic. I really enjoyed the programme - just found some of his attempts at humour a bit toecurling.
