Something similar to Parks & Rec, The Office & Community?

Hello everyone, we like to sit down in the evening with dinner and watch 'our show'. We like comedy series but they have to be not too out there as we watch with DD who is 8.

Does anybody have any recommendations based on the above? We are overseas so need to be on Netflix.

Definitely Modern Family for watching with kids - it’s one of the few comedies that’s child friendly but genuinely funny too.

I love those shows and have several other favourite comedies but may not be child suitable in places (both network TV though so can’t be too bad)

DD and I really enjoyed Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist.
It's about a young woman who gains the power to read people's feelings in the form of songs, and full blown musical numbers.
Very quirky and quite emotional in places as she hears the thoughts of her ill father.
