Rita on Netflix

Has anyone watched the Danish series Rita on Netflix?
I absolutely love it and have just started season 5. Have a feeling I'll have binged it all by the end of the week.

I've not met anyone irl who's seen it so hopefully there's some more fans of the show on here !

I gave it a go a while ago but couldn't get into it. I'll maybe try again after I've finished s5 of Rita. Definitely watch the rest! S4 was my favourite it's flashbacks between present day and teenage Rita. It's definitely not one of those shows that gets worse as the seasons go in if anything I think it's gotten better

Agreed! Only on ep3 but so many laugh out loud moments so far. When she apologise to the rock for blowing smoke on it 😂

I love Rita and was delighted to see there's a series 5.

I've only watched a couple of episodes so far and am enjoying it though I'm not sure I like her small private school quite as much as the previous one.

Has she thrown out her tartan shirts?

Yep miss the shirts. I think perhaps in s4 she got closure (don't want to say too much as Pp has only seen up to s2). But she was wearing the tartan shirts because of " him" but after going back to her old town, reconnecting with Leah etc. Perhaps she felt she could finally put it all behind her.

I stumbled across the series on Netflix the other day and I'm on season 4. it's great and was refreshing to watch something about a similar aged woman for once.

was hoping I'd picked up some Danish with the binge watching, but unfortunately my brain is shit and 15 mins after not watching can only remember tac 😂

also love the fact "no offence" in Danish is actually just "no offence"
